Carmen's Crew, a team loaded with former Buckeyes, takes home a cool $2 million for winning the TBT. As a fan of Carmen's Crew, I will be receiving money too, but it will probably be about 2 cents. Of course, I couldn't care less about the money, as it's all about enjoying the success of former Buckeyes, and abject failure of "Best Virginia."

I too find that tournament worth watching....although I was rooting for the D-3 guys!

Speaking of smaller schools, did you see that Thomas Walkup, the former Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack, who embarrassed tHuggs & Co. in the NCAA Tournament a few years ago, played in the TBT?

I understand your desperation to deflect and attempt to hijack this thread, SlowHead. The local media fold and blew fan boys talked about Best Virginia like this was the best team assembled since the Jordan/Magic/Bird Olympic Dream Team. The "go to" excuse was that Best Virginia had a bad draw because it had to play the defending champions in the second round, but Carmen's Crew booted the champs out of the tournament, so there is probably a new excuse.

The Old Fold & Blew homers don't put non-WVU fans on the air, as doing so would interrupt their propaganda flow. Let me know when they are scheduled to do the prediction show, as I will call in, and tell the homers that I predict that WVU will win two fewer games than whatever Johnny Mountaineer Howe predicts. Brad has established a trend of overrating the Old Fold & Blew.

I can only imagine how shocked and horrified you were when you discovered that a radio show centered around WVU athletics was promoting WVU sports. If you don't want to hear it, why do you listen to it?

I find the Old Fold & Blew homers masquerading as sports journalists to be highly entertaining. They spew propaganda that the masses lap up like real maple syrup, then spin like tops when WVU inevitably chokes or otherwise fails to meet expectations. Pure. Radio. Gold.
