2020 State Semifinal

Heritage(Lynchburg) has made the state semifinals the last 3 years.

Lord Botetourt has made the state semifinals the last 2 years.

Goochland made the state semifinals last year and before moving up to the Class 3 made it in Class 2 in 2018.

Of these 4 state semifinalists, which team do you feel won't return in 2020? Who you feel replaces them?

Goochland, replaced by James Monroe.

Hopewell will run through the field again next year. No one can stop Henderson. LB will be the bridesmaid once again.

No LCA love? With all they’ve gotten in plus the nice core that they’ve already had, you gotta think that they can knock off Heritage now.

Heritage loses some good secondary guys, but they'll reload. Heritage is loaded.Plus I believe that as long as Bradley is there they'll win region C every year.

LCA should have a legit passing game with a nasty group of receivers with Wycoff, Jones(JF transfer), and Jaylin Belford.

The problem with LCA is that they haven't been strong in the running game since they joined the seminole. If LCA were to ever be more successful running the ball, then I'd give them a chance against Heritage. They lost in the second round last year vs Heritage in the pouring rain because they couldn't run the ball. All they need is a running back that is among the top rushers in the District, and I'll give them a shot.

Gotcha. LCA also loses the SECOND best player in the Lynchburg area after Dre Kendrick in Tyler Rose. It’ll be interesting to see how LCA fares against Glass and Heritage.
