Impact Player for Wilmington: Senior RB/DB Trey Shaw. Shaw is a good sized athlete who will again be asked to play a big role on both sides of the football in 2020 for the Wildcats. Look for Shaw to be one of the featured running backs in the Wilmington pound and ground offense this fall.

EDGY's Quick Take on the Wilmington Wildcats: The Wildcats (10-2) had yet another strong season in 2020 and ended the season with a loss to Byron in Class 3A quarterfinals. Wilmington under head coach Jeff Reents has built one of the strongest Class 3A public school powers over the past two decades plus and expect the Wildcats to again be in the thick of things in 3A in 2020.
