That’s up to the players and coaches to do. We’re not playing or coaching. We can discuss the uniforms. It’s a message board.
No way. If Schiano is back they'll be changed at least a little. Hell I look forward to the entire stadium getting a fresh coat or Scarlet. (The roofs are getting faded)

And all you do with the chrome helmets is change the facemasks (red, black) and the R logo (red, black, etc)?

That’s why I like ours now but with the finishing touches I mentioned above.
Totally agree on the helmet (with a Block R obviously) as it honors the Marco era.
The stripes do that for the Alex Kroll era.

Greg’s style was always questionable. These are the things he needs to leave to professionals.

This. Love Greg but the uniforms were mostly terrible under him. Especially the last era with the deep v necks, crowded number to type lockup’s and the weird bootleg Chicago Bears numbering. The current ones are way better.

BRING BACK THE SCHIANO APPROVED NIKE UNI'S... eff adidazz... those uniforms were SHARP and totally unique ... outside of this forum most other CFB fans loved them
IMO UA's uniforms are largely terrible and almost always seem to feature weird stripes and/ or squares that look odd.

Actually...
Rutgers University's only school color is scarlet. Initially, students sought to make orange the school color, citing Rutgers' Dutch heritage and in reference to the Prince of Orange. The Rutgers student publication "Targum" (which would go on to become the Daily Targum) first proposed that scarlet be adopted in May 1869, claiming that it was a striking color and because scarlet ribbon was easily obtained. During the first intercollegiate football game with Princeton on 6 November 1869, the players from Rutgers wore scarlet-colored turbans and handkerchiefs to distinguish them as a team from the Princeton players. The Board of Trustees officially made scarlet the school color in 1900.

I know everyone here loves the block #s but I say bring back the “Rutgers” font #s
I don't remember that being the case at all. I remember some sports websites had those on their lists of worst uniforms in college football, and announcers always mentioned difficulty in determining who did what because they couldn't read the numbers.
