I'm starting to seriously believe Everton may go down.

Their remaining schedule is not easy.

March

Wolves
Newcastle

April

at West Ham
Man Utd
Crystal Palace
at Liverpool
Chelsea

May

at Leicester
Brentford
at Arsenal

They also have a match against Watford that needs reschedule because of the FA Cup. Wolves aren't playing great, but man, these next two matches vs. Wolves and Newcastle are absolutely massive. I think they have to win both and I have no faith they can actually do that.

I turned it off at 3 nil. I actually had some time to watch today, too, so I was looking forward to this one. That was absolutely painful to watch.

Take two aspirin and call me in the morning!

Better yet, drink heavily. It has always worked for me!

It looked like some players on Everton just didn’t care. Lazy soccer.

Liverpool-Inter Milan at 3pm today on CBS, Champions League round of 16 leg 2 of 2. Liverpool has the aggregate, 2-0, and will surely advance.

Liverpool 0-0 Inter Milan at the half. Milan pushing hard but I’m not seeing any hope for them. The aggregate is becoming more overwhelming by the minute.

Real Madrid 3-1 PSG at 78’. I was typing this at 2-1 and Madrid just scored again. Aggregate is now 3-2. (2-2 aggregate would have gone to Paris by away goals.)

Madrid scored three goals in like 17 minutes.

Real Madrid 3-2 PSG on the aggregate. Madrid dominated the last half-hour, a stunning defeat for Paris. Amazing soccer.
