Proud of my gunners. In the end, quality won out. But, for the first time in a long time this team has confidence and actually feels like they belong again. A couple of moves away from really competing soon for the top. CL qualification would be huge.

I bet on Liverpool today, so it's the one time a year I find myself pulling for that club.

The run in for the title is gonna be a lot of fun. Mark your calendar now for April 10, 11:30 AM.

You should pull for Liverpool the other 364 days of the year sir.

If we lose, you jinxed us, and I will never forgive you!

Well guys, today is the day for my club. Put up or shut up time. A loss today and I just can't see how Everton avoids relegation, even with 10 or so matches to play. Just need some sort of sign of life. I'm desperate. Please God. I think I'm gonna bet on Newcastle. It's a win-win. I'm not very good at betting soccer, so maybe I can will my team to a win. That, or I win. lol

Also, between the tournament, Everton at 3:30 and wrestling, my head is gonna be spinning this afternoon.

Money well spent. Knew the reverse jinx would work. I’ll take one for the club these next few weeks if that’s what’s needed.

It was a little embarrassing for a club of Everton's size and history to see that kind of celebration after the win. As JVP used to say about TD celebrations, "act like you've been there before"

I mean, they're about to get relegated. It was pretty damn important.

100%. Why complicate things beyond that? It’s part of the equation. You can say something like this to a lousy MLB team, for example, where there’s no threat of relegation. In the EPL, totally different vibe and expectations.

Especially when you add in their financial situation. They're literally building a new stadium as we speak. Imagine if Spurs were 17th in the table four years ago when they were building their stadium. That whole aspect is massive part of this equation. They drop to the championship and there's no guarantees that stadium project can continue, which just sets the club back even further.

It’s nice to see passion given how their season has gone.

Don't worry Ryan.

When Liverpool plays them at your place, I am sure we can sell out the place thereby helping your team out financially!

Then again, a 6 - 0 beat down will not help the team psyche! LOL!!

Arsenal v. Aston Villa coming up.

Lacazette leaving Arsenal? They touched on it pre-game.

I just saw a blurb on USA stating that Tottenham have not won consecutive matches in all competition since December. Wow.

Arsenal wearing yellow for some reason. Ukraine? I don’t see light blue.

Final: Arsenal 1, Aston Villa 0

Gunners 10-1-2 in their last 13 PL matches.

(@LionJim, I confirmed all by myself that 10+1+2 = 13. Just don’t ask me to prove it.)

Spurs 2, Hammers 0, 26th minute.

Beautiful pass by Kane and an even better strike by Son. Wow.
