Please use this thread to discuss the PSU MSOC 2021 summer/fall season, the postseason (B1Gs & NCAAs), and then offseason news about the team, former players, etc.

I'm not copying all the posts from the same thread on the former site ... I'm just picking things up at this point in the season

They looked great in the first half Sunday then went into a shell in the second half. Many missed counter attack opportunities IMHO and were fortunate the goalie had it totally together.

Going to need 90 minutes of press today.

PSU advances to the B1G tourney. They'll play the winner of the Indiana - NW semifinal on Sunday for the B1G tournament championship.

B1G Championship Game:
PSU 1 - 0 Seth Kuhn.
Should be 2-0 as Mangione missed a one on one with the goalie

We’re a soccer school! BTW, nice to see a Hackenberg win a championship, but the whole team played great. They withstood some good play and lots of corner kicks by Indiana early on and then took control of the game from around the midpoint of the first half. It was also fun to see the fans who braved the snow flurries throughout the game storm (no pun intended)the field and celebrate with the players at the end.
