Please use this thread to discussion the the preseason, in-season, and postseason of the Philadelphia 76ers.

I was trying to hold off on starting a season thread until the schedule was released, but I'm tired of waiting.

There were a lot of good posts in the 2021-23 Sixers Thread. You can access any of those posts at:

Part of the reason I was holding off on starting 2022-23 Sixers thread was that I was waiting on the NBA schedule.

Today, I heard somebody speculate that the reason the schedule has not yet been released is that the NBA and its broadcasters are waiting to see where KD ends up playing.

And speaking of KD, here's an interesting article that contains some talk about a trade between the Nets and the Sixers for KD, and what that might entail from the Sixers.

There are a million KD trade scenarios and every one of them has found its way online. Just saying.

The Sixers weren’t done yet and played the slow game waiting for Trez’s legal issues to pass. Looks like adding more depth and toughness. Really like what they’ve done this off-season.

A very nice addition, if used appropriately. Kyle Neubeck seems to flesh out the strengths and weaknesses of Trez, and Doc, in his article about the signing:

I get angry just looking at this clowns face! First time I’ve heard him talk in over a year. Made it even worse. I’m sure there’s more to this interview coming.

I'm so tired of Ben that I could not bring myself to listen to the interview. Fortunately, Kyle Neubeck did and wrote about it.

I listened to most of the interview (because I apparently enjoy high blood pressure and rage headaches) and somehow I came away hating JJ Redick more than Ben Simmons. He basically held his hand and babied him through the whole interview (the clips I saw). Sound familiar when it comes to Ben Simmons?? Craziest part was when Ben was talking about how he didn’t get any support from his friends after the Atlanta series and JJ just openly says “let’s call it what it is Ben, Doc and Joel threw you under the bus after the Atlanta series!” I highly doubt Joel will let that one go next JJ is calling a Sixers game and has to be around the team.

I agree with you. ...Doc and Joel threw you under the bus after the Atlanta series...HAHAHAHA. Uh, yea, so did the rest of the basketball world. Why? Because it was justified! Giving up an easy dunk because you did't want to risk having to shoot free throws was pretty obvious. Million dollar athletes that cannot make free throws will forever be a pet peeve of mine. It's one of the easiest parts of your game to correct if you are willing to work on it.
