The B1G is the toughest conference in the country. It’s not easy. Cut the guy some slack.
My Mat 1 feed says I need a subscription which I have and am using to watch Mats 2, 3, 4 and the QUAD. Something is messed up on the Big Ten plus end for Mat 1.

I somehow lucked my way into mat 1 but I was getting same error during session one. Did you try logging out and back in?
We’ve won it before with no production from 125 and a guy named Lee pinning or TFing everyone.
And when we don’t, we go on to win the national championship instead, again with no production from 125.
So the sky hasn’t fallen

Nothing much thru 1st minute. Stalemate with 1:50 left. Bartlett shoots and CK flees, and a stall warning as a result on CK. BB tries for a single, nothing. End

BB takes bottom. He's to his feet, and is returned. He's back to his feet, BB picks up the ankle, and BB gets the rev 2-0, and he has him on his back and is getting swipes, and he gets the pin @ 3:40!!!!!!!

you never know what you're going to get from him in a match. He has so much talent, but is more of a counter wrestler, so if his opponent doesn't shoot a lot, it becomes another close match.

That’s probably why it wasn’t on the main bracket - a mini-bracket. I would think that the results would only go towards placement and not team points, right? Seems unfair that Drew (and others) would be eliminated, but he could now get advancement or bonus points? Curious if anyone knows the answer
I believe this is counted like extra matches during dual season. They count for the record/advancement/whatever you want to call it but not for the team race.

Edsell in on a head outside single, CC locks thru the legs, Edsell steps over, pretty good scramble, and CC ends up with the TD, 0-2. Edsell tries to get a rev but has to settle for an esc as CC frees his leg. Edsell in on another head outside single, CC again locks thru the legs, and a stalemate. CC shoots, they scramble, and another stalemate with 31 sec left. End.

I forget a bunch of this, but it seems you gotta try something other than shooting from straight on. Edsell goes down to Carson MN
I believe the B1G got 7 allocations at 165, and with the loss to Cael Carlson, Edsell will not finish in the top 7. If I'm reading the B1G brackets correctly, if Edsell had defeated Carlson, at worst (meaning he lost the Consolation R3 match), he would have wrestled in the 7th place match.
I do think it’s all about matchups for him. Still think he’ll qualify and still think he can make noise at Nats.
So much for the Hildebrandt experiment. We desperately need a quality 125 next year.

They just assigned the 125 Consolation R3 matches to mats, so based on the above tweet and this info, I guess we'll see Beau wrestling in about 30 minutes (give or take).

Drew has a bye in R1. He'll face the winner of the Jeremiah Reno (Neb) - Jacob Moran (Indy) match in the 9/10 semis.
It doesn't appear as though any of the Consolation R3 matches are being assigned to Mats 2 & 3. I'm not at the arena, so I don't know for certain, but it's looking as though the semis will be on Mats 2 & 3, and the Consolations will run on Mats 1 & 4.
