I see Albany beat Michigan in the other game in the region. PSU/Albany in the regional final, winner goes to the final 4.
The way that Michigan's D shut down PSU's O last weekend in the B1G tourney makes me smile about the result in the UM - Albany match. PSU played Albany during the regular season, and it was a close game. And in playoffs, you just never know what can happen.
Michigan was the #4 seed in the NCAAs, which enabled them to host games the 1st weekend of NCAAs. How nice that they depart in their 1st game.

The match-up with North Carolina is interesting because 12 of 27 players on the North Carolina roster are from Pennsylvania.

Hey girls, it always sucks when you don‘t win your last game, but i’m proud of the effort and what you accomplished. It was a very good season. Come back next year and finish the job!
Congrats to the Heels on winning the NC. It was their year.
They knocked off both of my favorite teams.
Next year my kid will have former club teammates playing at NC, Virginia, 2x Indiana. They were an incredible indoor team. We called them the Fearsome Fivesome. I am excited about the next 4 years.
