Getting tight. Lead down to 4. Can't you go four-corners in lacrosse?

Yikes.... falling apart now. NC is scoring at will. Now a 2 goal lead and NU can never get the ball.

Picked a bad day to watch my first lacrosse game. Guess this is my fault. But wow.... that was some serious domination by NC. We couldn't even hold onto the ball for 5 seconds.

Team got so tight and well….flat out choked.
like Being up on MSU 35-3……back in whatever year that was…

Hate to correct such a bad memory, but it was 38-3. Today’s loss certainly compares, given the importance of the game.

The only NU loss more painful than this was Miami OH in 1995. Absolutely devastating.

There was a basketball game in 2009 where Illinois came back from, say, 12 down in, say, the final four minutes, because NU simply could not break the press.

Shurna’s freshman year, the season Coble scored 33 at MSU, and Juice was the guy who didn’t have a single other ball handler that could help.

Also the season when the bus driver didn’t change his clock and got the team to the game at OSU an hour late.

I didn’t see or follow today’s game, but today’s game was definitely worse.
