I wonder how different the back end of D would look if the Eagles started Slay and Bradberry, Maddox and Byard and Blankenship?? And they played the whole game?? Would the D look different? Would the sacks begin to flow??

I’d like to see Ringo and Slay on the outside, Maddox in the slot, brown and Blankenship at safety and Leonard and cunningham at LBer. Bench Bradberry.

Ringo has looked good
Slay has been the best CB on the team this year
Brown brings an edge to the D that they’re missing. I’m ok with the occasional f-up.
leonard looked really good against the giants playing downhill

the DL has gotten pressure just haven’t hit home often. Give them an extra half second to rush and I bet there are quite a bit more sacks.

I’d have no problem benching Bradberry. I think we all expected more from Byard

Bradberry will be cut after the season. He parlayed a great 2022 into a big extension, but is an obvious detriment to the team at this point.
sounds like a good outcome to me, if he comes back he comes back cheap. He is a shell of 2022

Saturday night Lions v Cowgirls who as an Iggle fan do you want?
as I understand it, Lions lose it helps the Iggles relative to the #1 seed, but of course that means the Girls win, and the makes the NFC East tighter, and I just hate the Grils winning.

If the Lions win, that helps the Iggles with the NFC East but there is still a race for for the # 1 seed

relative to the #1 seed, it aint over yet. If the Birds handle business as they should and win out it is right there. I think the 49ers stumble at least once. the Key to the 49ers is not Purdy or CMM or the WO's or the D , its Trent Williams, and when he leaves the game, all hell breaks out. I think he is hurting and even if he starts I doubt he finishes the games.

Thoughts?

Cowboys. If Detroit wins, it jumps to the #2 seed based on tie breakers. Can’t have that happen.

I think Dallas wins at home anyway.

It’s just so hard to do that though!!

yeah, I'm treating the game with benign neglect. I could never bring myself to root for the Cowboys. But it would be to the Eagles' advantage for the 'boys to win, so I'm ignoring the game so that I don't have to watch or root for or against either team. ;)
