Buffalo fired their OC this morning. A brutal, brutal loss for the Bills last night. (Too many men on the field on a last-play missed field goal; the do-over won the game.)

The Bills players have done quite a bit of jaw-flapping to the Steelers the last few years so I can't say I have any sympathy for them.

And Joe Brady, yes that Joe Brady, will be the interim OC. It appears he won't end up at PSU either way.

We shall see as he goes into the teeth of their schedule with the Jets home, Eagles away, bye week then at Chiefs, at Chargers, at Dallas, at Miami and then Pats at home.

Besides CJF saying he'd like to have an OC named before the bowl game, the way I look at it is this: If Brady flourishes and turns the offense around at Buffalo they'll most likely keep him or another NFL team will want him for the same role. If he craps the bed and the offense doesn't improve, would PSU want him?

For some reason I’m seeing this NFL season as being lousy with player injuries, more so than for previous seasons.

Perfect timing, but of course the Steelers are capable of losing to any bum off the street any given Sunday.

Please tell me why Garrett gets all the hype when TJ does more every season? Make it make sense?

Looks like the Steelers have a shot at the AFC North again despite not scoring points for a third straight year.

Well I’ll trade away your 2 best players and then fire you a few weeks later
Jonathan Allen’s pretty good, he was having a much better year for Washington than Chase Young. But, yeah. I guess JdR lost the locker room, looks like. The WFT O just could not finish drives. The second time WFT went for it on fourth and failed, that sealed their fate early, and after that WFT didn’t put up much of a fight. Howell is on track to own the record for being sacked in a season.

Last week WFT had six turnovers against the Giants and lost to a team they should have easily beat. The WFT O yesterday would have beat the Giants. Dallas is a good team and WFT was overwhelmed yesterday.
