That's what I always heard. But is there ANYBODY in that locked room now with the sense God gave a mule?

More than that, I haven't seen any fight in those boys. None. Philly is INTO this series. They're rooting each other on from the dugout. They're picking each other up. I see one team that WANTS to play in the World Series and one team that doesn't.

Huh. I just today discovered that Freddy Freeman hit 59 doubles this year, the 7th most in a season in MLB history. Of the six seasons in which a player had 60 or more doubles, the most recent was 1936. The record is 67, Earl Webb in 1931.

I was flipping through some stuff online, and saw a press conference where Bryce Harper said he is a diehard Ohio State Buckeye fan.

IIRC, he doesn't have much of a choice since his wife played a sport at OSU. Not sure what though.

Which leads to the question, is there any leadership on the Braves? It seems pretty simple for someone to grab him by the shirt and tell him to keep his mouth shut while reporters are in the room. At the bare minimum, the manager or one of the coaches should have done it.

Lack of leadership could also explain while they laid and egg last year and are on the verge on doing it again this year.
If Strider is pulled tonight, will he throw a fit at Rick Kranitz like he did in game 1? That wasn't a good look.

What I see is

- one “Team” that has a lot of stars
And
- a bunch of stars

The Phils are swinging and making good contact. The Braves not so much.

The Phils are the most complete team in post -season ball

As a Pirates fan, gotta say I've really enjoyed watching the Phils these past two years. Lota fun, and the home fans are great. Not over yet, but things are lookin' good.

Appreciate the comment. The team is a lot of fun to watch (well, except when Kimbrel can't throw strikes). Here's hoping the Pirates get back to competing.

First class man. This team is a blast to watch, ESPECIALLY when the post season comes around. Now put them against the Braves???? This is must see baseball…..
