Carroll with a single then Marte with a double to easily score Carroll.

4-1, DBacks, in the top of the 5th, and Topper is going to the 'pen

Lorenzen comes in and gets a ground out and a K to finish the inning.

4-1, DBacks, headed to the bottom of the 5th.

Phightins bats have to start producing

Kelly strikes out Schwarber and Harper, and gets Turner to fly out to center.

Still 4-1, through 5.

Kerkering in in the top of the 7th. He gave up a single to ??, who later stole 2nd. He then gave up a single to Marte (why even pitch to him with 1st base open), making it 5-1, DBacks

Don't understand taking out Lorenzen. Is Rob going to burn through a bunch of relievers that we may need tomorrow?

Walker has not pitched at all so I would say he is available. They may even bring out Wheeler if needed.

Tonight was a big bummer. Typical of this Phillies team. They’re feast or famine. Let’s hope their stars show up tomorrow!

as a Philly and State fan, I ran the gamut of pleasure and pain this weekend. While fresh in my head I rank in order of most loved

Phillies will be in big trouble tomorrow night if they can't figure out Pfaadt and get a nice lead. Close game will not be good because the D-backs pen is so much better than the Phillies. Right now it looks like the Phillies will be relying on Hoffman, Strahm, and Alvarado. That's probably why Kerkering, Kimbrel, and Soto pitched tonight.

Ye of little faith. The Phil’s have the most complete team remaining in the MLB playoffs.

They will win the crown in 5

Texas up 8-2 in the 4th inning. Sure seemed like Dusty kept France in way too long.

If the D-backs win game 7 it will be the second season in a row that the lowest seed team from the NL advanced to the WS.

Texas to the World Series. Dusty is going to retire, it seems. A good man but I define him by his disappointments as the Nationals manager.

For Sure. Spectacular fall day in the Philadelphia region. Frustrating that the team didn't get it done last night, but they still have the better lineup, and are playing at CBP.

Go Phightins!

Would you move JT to clean up and/or Marsh to 5th?

I'd sure be tempted to do both
