Schwarber looks at a fast ball right down the middle, then strikes out on ball 4. Not a good start.
I predict second time thru the line up Pfaadt gets pounded.
good grief, he rings up Schwarber on a low pitch. this **** has got to stop by the home plate umps.
The strike 3 call on Schwarber was BS.
With the technology available, I’d like to see them go with AI
It makes it hard to enjoy the game. Maybe remove the damn rectangle it’s TORTURE

He really is struggling. A HR in his first AB in the NCLS, and nothing since then.
A microcosm of his entire season. Very hot-very cold. He’s never seen a pitch he didn’t like.
What is it about Pfaat that makes people want to swing when the ball isn't even CLOSE to the strikezone?

Rojas strikes out with 2 out, and the bases loaded. He took strike one, then swung at a high fastball, and then swung at an outside slider or sweeper.
ugh, I thought Topper would go to the 'pen for Carroll. He didn't, and Carroll hits a single to drive in a run.

Yeah consensus here was to take out Ranger. Carroll already had two hits.
I was thinking that too, but Moreno has been playing really well. He has a hit in six straight games now. Carroll came into tonight with just three hits in the entire series.
Obviously, he's playing well tonight, but I think that's why.
Pitch around Carroll and it's 2-2. Arizona has outstanding plate discipline for a young team. Never good, when you take a lead and give it up in the next half inning. Need to answer. Probably against the lefty.
(Sarcasm on) How could he take Ranger out for Carroll...lefty vs lefty? Doesn't matter what he did his 1st two ABs(Sarcasm off).
exactly make it 1st and 2nd and your bring in your right versus righty. nor need to face a guy that is 2-2 agianst Ranger even if moreno gets a hit you have a slower runner on 2nd

This Phillies team is doing what it does best tonight: squandering quality scoring chances. It's amazing how their lineup and bullpen weaknesses have come back to haunt them in the last 4 games of this series. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
