Was thinking the same thing. Looked up their record and they started the year with four straight wins. Since then they are 5 and 17. Maybe they have had some injuries I don't know. Today was a massacre.
Lauren Boyd fires a 3- hit shutout and the Cats take advantage of some sloppy fielding by Iowa and take game 1 by a score of 5 to 0. Really like the fact we have 3 very good pitchers in Williams,Boyd and Henry.

RBI's in game 1 from Shellmyer, Nelson, Rudd with 1 each and 2 by Nikki Cuchran who has been raking the last few games.

Cats can't quite pull off the comeback in the second game and fall 6 to 5. Danielle was not very sharp but NU came back twice to tie the game the last time scoring two runs in the sixth but Iowa pushed one over in the bottom of the seventh for the win.
Time to start another winning streak beginning Wednesday against that team from Rantoul down there. Game on BTN at 6 PM.

I just turned to BTN, and our 23rd ranked Cats are up 11-0 on Illannoy at the bottom of the 3rd. Let’s f’ing go!
Cats have an inning to remember against Penn State as they scored 11 runs on 9 hits in the bottom of the 2nd. A couple of home runs numerous run scoring singles and doubles.

The lady Cats scored 20 against DePaul already have 21 against the Nittany lions in only three innings. Way to go Ladies.

Comeback Cats do it again. Maeve Nelson with a walk off Grand Slam to give the ladies a 5-2 victory and the series sweep. Man these ladies just don't give up.

Cats win 1-0 in Madison behind 3 scoreless innings from Lauren Boyd and 4 from Danielle Williams who finished the game and got the win.
The only run scored was in the second on a bases loaded to Grace Nieto and the Cats made it stand up. Nice win against the badgers today.

Cars hold on and take game 2 of the 3 game weekend series against Wisconsin 6-3. Skyler Shellmyer was the hitting star with a rare homerun for her and a big hit with the bases loaded for a total of 3 RBI'S . Cami Henry went 6 innings for the win but had to be relieved in the 7th by Danielle for the save.

Yep. Want to beat the weather moving in tomorrow. Did not matter to our CATS as got the DH sweep and series sweep.
