Never get tired of watching Nolf’s ankle pick.
Never cared for Zahid. I’ve seen his conditioning be a factor in the past and it was once again. Aaron kept getting stronger as the match went on and Zahid couldn’t keep up. Honestly, Zahid should have been put on the clock several times. He also kept dropping to his knees and hanging out in that position, which the announcers were saying should have been penalized for “failing to engage??”. Bottom line is Brooks took it to him. It was thing of beauty.
NLWC with the most champs. Lee, Nolf, Brooks bring home the W’s with comeback wins and dominating second periods. Couple those three with our top seeds and it’s not even close for who has the most participants at Final X.
And that, my friend, is largely why top level talent is migrating to PSU in large quantities. Top level guys want to train and compete with the best. I don’t think some of PSU’s rivals have fully comprehended this concept yet.
Oh, they have figured it out. The question remains, what to do about it? If anything. It’s a tough spot for other Programs.
PSU is the BEST place in the World for the ELITES to wrestle and achieve their dreams. Bar None hands down ! Dynasty to say the least.
Encourage everyone to join the NLWC. It’s outstanding for everything they offer. Developed many lifetime friends before and after matches eating and drinking. They spread the sheet during tournaments as well. Definitely worth your money. Love it !

Freestyle is growing on me in a good way. I still wish there was a limit to how many points you can score on one leg lace/exposure sequence. 6 might be the right number. Take down, exposure, exposure, start from neutral.
I didn't see it but the passivity call against Dieringer seems weak. I guess I am not a fan of the passivity call, unless you would limit it to the first period.
Props to Pants for wrestling back hard after getting decked in the first round.
PSU verbal Luke Lilledahl defeated PSU Class of 2023 signee Cael Nasdeo in the U-20 57 Kg semis by TF, 11-0. He'll face Jore Volk (Wyoming Wrestling RTC) in the 57 Kg Final

PSU verbal Zack Ryder advanced to the finals of the U-17 80 Kg weight class, with a 6-1 DEC over Adam Waters (Steller Trained Wrestling). He'll face De'Alcapon Veazy (Legends of Gold Wrestling) in the final
PSU transfer Mitchell Mesenbrink won the U-20 74 Kg match against Nick Sea (NY). He'll face Hunter Garvin (Iowa) in the final. Garven defeated PSU verbal Joe Sealey in the other U-20 74 Kg semi, 14-11.
