I really hope Clarks declares after this year because her and Boston will be fun to watch.
I really enjoyed that interview between the two with the Swifties bracelets. Indiana would be perfect for her geographically and her and Boston would elevate that franchise for sure.

Well, if you like points, that game had it. Great comeback win for OSU. McMahon was a beast dropping a 33/12.

The ESPN Mock Draft for women's basketball is out and I love the TOP 5:

#1 Catlin Clark...Indiana Fever
"Iowa is selling out home and away games; tickets are going for big bucks on the secondary market; and the cereal named after Clark sold out almost immediately in Iowa grocery stores. (Now it's being sold on eBay.) Analyst Debbie Antonelli refers to the Iowa star's impact as "Clarkonomics," and the Fever would love to be part of it. Clark is averaging 31.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists."

#2 Cameron Brink...LA Fever (imo, this girl could be a model, best looking girl in the draft)
#3 Paige Bueckers...Phoenix Mercury (ESPN thinks she stays at UCONN) HUM????
#4 Kamilla Cardosa...Seattle Storm..
"The Storm are trying to retool around star guard Jewell Loyd. Seattle's biggest need, admittedly, is point guard, although that might be addressed in free agency. Even if it isn't, Cardoso's size, strength, defensive prowess and potential make her hard to pass up. She's averaging 13.1 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocks for the undefeated No. 1 Gamecocks. GO KAMILLA, make us proud!!!!

#5 Rickea Jackson...Dallas Wings Interesting, what do y'all think of this?

I personally like Edwards from UCONN as the #5 pick....I think Rickea has been hot/cold for UT...

Lastly, has anyone seen Catlin's Cereal. I would love to order a box but I want an autograph to go with it so if Carolina and Iowa play again, I might show up with my box of Cereal and hope to get an autograph
Nope, but I did find my 🎱!!! 👀

It was a great game against OSU. It was fun watching. Congrats to Catlin for the amount of points she scored and is inching to be the NCAA leader in points scored by a woman. Boy did the IOWA fans show up. I'm hoping this game will be the most watched womans game of the week. IT was a terrific game no matter who you pulled for. Just as Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season, Clark is the reason for sellouts, large viewing audiences and fan interest during basketball season.

The interesting thing was that I was at the gym and and it was on all the TV's, a dozen or so. Towards the end people stopped working out and moving on the treadmills and started watching the game. I can honestly say, this was one of my favorite days at the gym in a long time...

Now let's go beat A&M!!!

It seems like some posters do not remember Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Ionescu, Plum etc. WBB has always had generational talent. The difference with Clark is media hype. Do not forget those who made her possible
Bird was a great guard overall and Ionescu was an incredible shooter. I do believe Clark is the most explosive and dynamic offensive player we have seen to date. She and her team taking down one of the greatest women's basketball teams of all time in last year's Final Four only added to her lore. We are largely to blame for her phenomenal public profile.

No player is the greatest of anything without a ring

Catlin has rings. But what does a ring have to do with being the greatest?
She's got plenty of rings, medals, awards. Reese will be an after thought in the years to come. Clarks fame will last for all time.

It was our inability to hit shots that lost that game, not our defense regardless of how many points she had. Holding them into the 70s gave us the chance to win. Just couldn't hit shots. We most certainly fixed that this season which has me giddy. :)

100%. We held them to less points than LSU did. Offense was the issue. 3 of our 5 starters scored 1 bucket between them. One.

And Carolina had how many drafted in the WNBA that year? How many did IOWA?

Excuses, Excuses....Catlin was the superstar of that game...that's why she is where she is with American college basketball fans, and media.

Who's the one making excuses? They all left with rings.

You can love Clark all you want, I like her and thinks she's great/fun to watch. Even said in a post earlier I hope her and Boston become teammates. BUT.. dude this is a Gamecock thread (yeah yeah you started it) and all you do is talk up Clark or bring up race half the time. Either you're being unaware or trolling at this point. WE all get it, Clark is a generational talent, and has proved that in terms of her abilities on the court with her play.

All the public at large will remember is that she had 41 points and they were the team to beat us. That's all that will ever matter.

— John Wooden

According to Wooden, Clark has some work to do.
