Noticed we have a week off in late Jan…don’t think we’ve had that before right?? Nice lil rest for the team.

Overall, pretty good schedule for Pope’s first year. SEC going be another meat grinder, but don’t really get @Mizzou for the last game, seems we’re usually up against an SEC rival for it.
I have to assume BigUT and OK are affecting the scheduling. Will be a year of firsts, for sure.

Weird not to play Florida twice next season.

Looks like it's UT and Vandy every season. 100 bucks says we get Arkansas twice in 2025 2026 season lol.
Man you know florida administration has to be pissed not having Kentucky at home only time of the year their fans show up maybe that 7 ft 9 center will help draw some fans

If UK finishes the season with less than 8 losses, I will consider it a successful year one in the Mark Pope era.

I drive down from NJ once or twice a year for a game. Looks like Feb 1 is going to be the game this year.

One thing I like, is that there's only one team beyond 200s in KP. That's the sweet spot for me: not good enough to realistically beat us on most nights, but not bad enough to hurt our metrics.

A little annoying we go to both TX and OK, but they don’t come to Rupp in year 1.
Just another way the conference craps on it's best and most historic team. I love the SEC, but HATE the conference.

Gonna be tough sledding for Pope's first year.

8-10 losses I think is a "win" and gets us a 4-6 seed in a loaded SEC

OOC: Duke is good, Zags in Seattle will be tough, don't know enough about Clemson or OSU. I see at least 2-3 losses there.

SEC is going to be rough. Lots of good teams and how quick our team has to come together. I'm guessing 6+ losses.

In 2025 season they will both come here.
Yeah, but their inaugural year in the SEC they should be coming to us. We’re the king of this conference in basketball. That should mean trips to us first. Just another way the conference gives us the subtle finger.

It would have made more sense to split them to me but I honestly am not concerned with playing them on the road as it literally evens itself out next year.

Very tough schedule and a tough SEC this year. But, it will be tough for everyone this season. Can't wait to get started.

I predicted 25-6 earlier in this thread. That may be a little ambitious on my part, but it is doable. I think we only lose to Duke and Gonzaga in the non-conference and only lose 4, maybe 5 tops, in the conference.

I’m going to be conservative.

10-3 non-con

10-8 SEC

20-11 regular season

1-1 SEC tourney

21-12 going into NCAA tourney.

2-1 NCAA tourney

23-13 final record
