Most likely only the 2nd PSU alum to be an NBA head coach after Bob Weiss.
Wonder if he's related to Andrew Ott.
I’m struggling finding any type of info on him…did he do anything for the hoops program in college (or the Athletic Dept in general)? I’d guess we’ll see something in The Penn Stater or something like that either way a profile in the next year.

Penn State has received a pledge from another international prospect.
Congrats to Yanic for going from a project to a first round pick in about 8 months. Amazing ascent for him.
Looks like a portal addition ... he was at Xavier as a freshman, and University of Illinois-Chicago as a soph.
Again, I like adding EURO players. Hopefully he adds depth to the front line giving minutes that impact and allows Freshman Hauser to be ne brought along a little slower to gain weight/strength.
That should be a pretty impactful addition. Only thing I don’t love is that both seasons, his minutes dropped down the stretch. But he’s better than I would have expected to get at this point.
My guess would be never, unless someone suddenly takes a huge interest in basketball.When does PSU purchase the Gavin McKenna of men’s basketball?
