My hope would be that Kraft already developed a short list more than a month ago…Coach K gone today…and calls are already being made.
In the era of social media, it would be wise for the AD to maintain a perpetual shortlist for all of the teams.
Kieger received an extension in April ‘22. Terms were undisclosed. I’d assume we’ll move on this week. I’d have Aaron Rousell at Richmond on my short list.
Grab Nicki Collen from Baylor. Won't be cheap. She was just extended in 24, but a serious hire.

I'm absolutely shocked if that report is accurate. Off the court issues, a limited amount of time left on her contract, and a horrible performance on the court...thought it was a slam dunk that we'd be moving on.

Suspect Kieger can’t be dismissed because the men’s team also preformed poorly. If Kieger is dismissed and Rhoades is not dismissed, then there is a discrimination lawsuit
There is no chance that this is the case...that lawsuit would get thrown out in a heartbeat.

I considered that to be on the court issues. When I think of off the court issues, I think legal or academic problems.
I'd consider "on the court" to be things like wins/losses, the offense you're running, playing time, etc...where as racism, bullying and body shaming are off court issues.
But regardless how it's categorized...trying to recruit while other coaches can point to your "racism, body shaming, bullying, and more" is hard enough when you're putting good teams on the court year after year. Combine that with 6 years of no NCAA and a 1-17 record this year, and I'm not sure what she's selling right now. This seemed like such an obvious time to hit the reset button.
