I see your point, but Malzhan's ingenious blocking schemes as related to the read-option play DEMAND a true double-threat quarterback who can analyze on the fly. Marshall was perfect.

He's been talking to Norfolk State also, and he is from that area. Our family is watching this with interest since my grandson is the long snapper there.

Sacramento State has greater potential, but this is a guy who really hasn't coached. If I were Sacramento State, I'd want an experienced person leading my incursion into the FBS, or for that matter, as head coach in the FCS.
