Yeah, because they win super bowls all the time.

Likewise, how many Super Bowls have the Browns won with their 6 1st Round QB Selections? For the record I'm not opposed to taking QBs. I'm just against teams constantly taking QBs too early that don't appear to be NFL difference makers. I don't think May, Nix or McCarthy are going to be very good as NFL QBs.

High picks don't guarantee anything, just increase your odds of success. Who is the last game manager to win a super bowl?

Wow, surprised Howie went with a CB from Toledo and not a battle tested CB from the SEC elite.

Well, I'm not sure why you replied to my post then.
And that would be correct.

I replied to yours because I disagree with the amount of teams that feel the need to take QBs in the 1st round as well. Very few Drafts have multiple QBs that have good NFL careers and I think it's obsurd to see teams taking Nix, Maye and McCarthy in the Top 12. I wouldn't take any of them before the 2nd Round.

Interesting because I said nothing about any of that.

Maybe I'm mistaken but your post seemed to infer that you were okay with the amount of QBs taken high in the 1st round since "High picks don't guarantee anything, just increase your odds of success.."

28. Chiefs: Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas (the Chiefs traded with the Bill to move up to this pick)

I was worried he was going to land at KC. This looks to be a good addition for them

Can somebody help me out here? The Vikings traded up with the Jets to draft a QB at #10… even though the Jets had no interest in drafting a QB! Why??? What did the Vikings give the Jets??

Worse, imo, is Atlanta drafting Penix after signing Cousins.

Really, it was to make sure that another QB needy team (Denver, Raiders, etc) didn’t move into that spot instead.

The deal involved sending the No. 11, 129 and 157 picks to New York in exchange for the 10thpick and the No. 203 pick.
