The USA had 3 women in the 800m semis. Two of them qualified for the finals: Elle St. Pierre and Nikki Hiltz.
USA - Australia women's water polo semis taking place right now. The USA are up 5-2 at the half, on this nice goal just before the end of the half.
USA had 3 guys in the men's 200m final, and they took 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Tebogo, from Botswana, took 1st.
Damn, Australia scores the last 2 goals in the USA - Australia women's waterpolo semi, and regulation time ends in a tie (I think it was 8-8). So, it will be decided on a shoot-out
USA - Australia women's waterpolo semi shoot-out is crazy. They both scored in the 5-goal shoot-out. Then it goes round by round. Australia scored their 6th goal, but the USA's shot was blocked. So Australia advances, and the USA will play for bronze. They (the USA) had won the last 3 Olympic gold medals in women's waterpolo.

US played really poorly on offense after going up 8-6. Several unforced turnovers and erratic shots. Seemed like the Aussies got more intense on D and the US didn't respond.
Apparently Noah Lyles was diagnosed with covid 2 days ago. He was taken off in a wheelchair after the race ended.

Yeah, I saw that. It sucks for him (though he got bronze in the 200m). It does raise questions as to whether he'll be able to participate in the men's 4x100m for the USA men.
Wow. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone wins the 400m hurdles, and sets a world record in the process. The USA (Anna Cockrell) also got 2nd. Femke Bol (Netherlands) was considered a real threat to Sydney repeating as Olympic champ, but she was a distant 3rd

Grant Holloway blows away the field in the men's 110m high hurdle. In a photo finish, Daniel Roberts of the USA took 2nd (by 0:003 sec). Broadbell of Jamaica was 3rd.
I haven’t watched a non-college basketball game in years. Serbia-USA seems like a three pointer contest. Looks like the USA may gag this game away.
Embiid is having a huge 4th qtr. Lebron just tied it up, 84 a side, with 3:39 left in the game

Embiid set a vicious screen that set Steph free for a 3 that allowed the USA to take the lead.
