The 2024 in-state talent pool is about as low as I've ever seen. The top rated prospect in the entire state is a 5.6 3 star. It looks like the coaching staff will have to rely heavily on some of the pipelines they've established into other areas to fill the majority of needs in that class.

I think you can draw a 300 mile circle around Lexington which includes Cincy, Nashville, etc...and that could be considered "in state."

2 best 'instate' guys play at a prep school in CT, Jacob and Jerod Smith. Both in the Rivals 250 and are from Somerset, guessing they will be important targets next year.

The edge is a top 100 guy #97 I believe.
We need a stud pass rusher in so many ways and a top 250 DL brother to bring along is like jackpot. Thankfully we have the Predictions on 247 for both but things can change in a hurry.
