It was right call for fg only 38 yards and he was 3-3 last game. Not kickers fault they couldn’t block. Looks like ot
That was at the edge of his range. Last week he made all 3 kicks but all 35 or less. When the longest you'd let him try one from is 40 and you have a 4th & 1 that's a tough call.
Most times I'd agree with you--but not with a kicker with so little experience when you've also had 5 previously kicks blocked this year--you know it's a problem.
I'm just shocked he tried the FG--not saying it was bad coaching. I thought he'd go for it.

The SEC has played nine bowl games, not counting games in which they played each other as the opponent. They were favored in seven of the nine games. Yet they’ve only won two of the nine games. Tell me again how this is the superior conference?
The bigger stat to me is they are 0-2 in the playoffs in games not vs other SEC teams. I don't count the ridiculous Tulane vs Ole Miss game.
