LOL, one of the poorer bicycle kicks I've seen (that wasn't a miss), but it worked.

Still the best bicycle kick I've ever seen. Maybe the best goal I've ever seen.
Emre Can is moving diagonally making it even more difficult (he's not standing still waiting). The pass is moving toward the goal as opposed to across the field making it harder to time correctly. Note the slight bend that he gets on the ball to push into the corner.

FT: Liverpool 1, Sunderland 1

Liverpool aren’t very good, but Sunderland are impressive.

West Ham gets the equalizer in the 84th minute, off a corner.

As the lone Villa supporter here, let me say that they have been a welcome distraction in a fall that was filled with Penn State football disappointment. Unai has this team playing inspired football right now. Up the Villa!!!!

Thanks for posting. That’s always a rush, getting the winning goal at the gun. Good thing I decided to skip watching the match and instead get a good workout in. Plus we got our PSUHFC.

I used to post in the Premier league thread over on the old board, but haven’t really done so here. Between getting our new coach and an unlikely Villa win at the death, it has been a pretty damn good morning for me. Feels deserved after these past few months.

it will be interesting to see what we do in the winter window. There is some sentiment that we might move Ollie.

once this went to VAR, the red card was an easy call. In real time, it did look to me to be a yellow card. But in slow-mo replay, it's pretty obvious that a red was warranted.

Villa’s persistence on that last goal was impressive. Arsenal had 4 or 5 chances to clear the ball out of the box and Villa just wouldn’t let it happen.

The EPL title race may turn out to be pretty epic this year. Arsenal doesn’t always deal well with adversity, and that Villa game may put Arsenal into a bit of a tailspin.

Interesting weekend for sure thus far. Arsenal drops 3, City once again back on their heels with a long way to go. Salah and Slot having a face off.....so I expect Slot out if there isn't 3 points in their next fixture or if Salah's power play gets him in the lineup. So much drama this year as everyone outside of 2-3 teams is up and down week by week.
