To summarize Guy’s weekly presser:
—Crespo sore after injury but otherwise OK and will have a few days off this week after toughing it out Saturday night.
—McKenna is really, really, really good
—Jackson Smith did have an illness and should be good to go for the Clarkson series
—Seifarth has left the team to focus on academics. They are rummaging thru campus for a third string goalie.
Low scoring matchup thus far. Early Clarkson goal was answered quickly with a PP tally, Wiebusch from McKenna. Sloppy play, too many penalties by PSU. Guy challenged an early hard hit for head contact and it was rejected, then minutes later Misa was crushed with what appeared to be head contact and no call and no challenge available.
1-1 heading to second, Patricia Clarkson will have 25 seconds of a man advantage remaining.
