I think they should be ok as long as they’re seeing ice time. I wouldn’t want to be the backup goalie though.
This. The legs get real heavy. The one plus is this experience will help come the NCAA tournament.
Buy a shell and have multiple layers underneath.

Will someone please post regular updates on tonight’s matchup? I’m on the second day of a cross country drive and would appreciate knowing how it goes. Wife is currently driving so I can check updates
Team got off the ice in time tonight, so no Sparty PP to open. Fleming in goal. Late arriving crowd, probably traffic related. Puck drop in moments.
Early Sparty 2on1 goes wide. Neither team has established any significant zone time yet. Fleming just stoned a great Sparty back door pass. PSU then gets a breakout with an uncalled trip, and subsequent Sparty break leads to a goal. 1-0 Sparty, 15:56 left first. Back and forth continues as teams seem to be feeling strategies out. Smith heads to the sin bin for interference. Need a Pk here. Penalty killed with efficiency. Still down 1-0, 7:55 left first. Shots currently even at 11, but Sparty has had higher quality chances. thus far. 6:52 to go first. Chin-Degraves gets two minors, Sparty back on Pp. Wiebusch in the box serving the second minor. 59 seconds left to kill. Annnnd a redirect or well screened shot gets past Fleming. 2-0, 4:53 to go first.
Lions get first Pp due to Sparty hooking. 3:57 to go, need an answer. Not the answer we were seeking, as Smith gets another interference. 4on4. Refs are hearing it after shot to PsU face goes uncalled, the Sparty gets set up and scores. 3-0, guy asks for review for shot to head. Standing by…no major called, down 3-0 1:34 left first. End first. Big hill to climb vs a team this good. Hope the refs have good security, because there are several thousand angry fans after a wildly and inconsistently called opening frame. Guy is having a long talk with the officials prior to second period puck drop. Next goal has to be from the boys in blue.

Multiple penalties upcoming, likely PP for blue. Now under review, standing by… OK, review taking a long time… refs have lost control, two Sparty game misconducts, one for blue. Still sorting it out. McKenna booted. PSU still has four minutes AYCE. 1:39 left in the major. DiDi just misses a point blank chance. 29 seconds left in the Pp. And thats all the Pp wrote. With 11:15 to go second, it doesn’t appear to be Penn State’s night.

GoOoOoOoOoOallll! Jackson Smith spears a clearing effort and plops it down and scores from the high slot! DiDi and Misa helped. 3-1, 8:15 to go second. Play stopped as a stick has become quite embedded in Sparty goalie’s skate.
Goal slides behind Fleming, can’t challenge for goaltender interference. Down 4-1, 4:22 left second.
Just can’t seem to connect tonight. Had a perfect back door chance but the puck just missed the stick. 34 seconds to go in the second period. End second down 4-2, Sparty will have a PP to start the third for a thrown stick by Fink. Down two of our best and Fink in the box is not a recipe for a third period comeback. Stranger things have happened, so I will keep the faith, but it’s not looking good. Penalty killed, and Smith just struck major iron. Almost, but not quite. Still down three,
