We suck. PSU should stop playing hoops, men’s and women’s. Shut them both down.

We have to play hoops "4 Tha Culture" to demonstrate a commitment to diversity, empowerment, and the growth of women’s sports — while gaining direct access to a vibrant and influential audience. Tha culture is working out gr8 4 every1 involved!

No, Penn State plays basketball because it gets a lot of money from the Big Ten to do so.

What the hell happened to this program? This was once a source of pride.
Well 2 players out of an extremely diverse 400 former players felt discriminated against because the coach didn’t want them dating each other and bringing drama into the locker room. So obviously the program had to be burned to the ground. (If I’m wrong, it’s not by much.)

The times were a changing in society but the former coach stayed old school(may she rest in peace). I remember having to sit in the upper level of the BJC to watch a women's bball game in the early 00's, however, the program was not winning as much and the seats were not filling up in the BJC anymore. A change was inevitable due to all the controversy and PSU admin thinking they could control the media and interwebs information, but it has been downhill ever since. PSU is not a destination women's bball school until you get a coach in here that can run a better program and bring in better players. Kraft need to make the move very soon with this program.
