Does "split doubleheader" mean two single game tickets, or will you need to buy tickets for both games? Either way I am going to take the day off and go to both games.

November 15 is very quick. Apart from the BC exhibition game over a month earlier, will they have one or two tune up games against cupcakes before the BYU game?

I guess Uconn has another " Arena this year " they'll play in, LOL!
The Hartford arena formerly known as the XL Center now has a new name: PeoplesBank Arena.

" Under the deal, PeoplesBank, based on Holyoke, will pay an average of $2 million a year for ten years for the arena naming rights. Payments start at $850,000, as the arena is undergoing renovations this year; and rise to $2.4 million. That's a far steeper price tag than the deal insurer XL Group reached at the end of 2007, an average of $450,000 to $500,000 per year.

I thought Peoples Bank was bought out by M&T Bank? In fact I did business with them up until M&T Bank bought them out, then later took my business elsewhere because of some stupid rules M&T had that really disgruntled me.

Well here's a little more......Not exactly a tune-up or before BYU ......but

Illinois is ranked #17 in ESPN's latest preseason poll, with a team that is packed with international talent, including Stojavic and Ivisavic. So it's most definitely not a tuneup but rather is yet another huge early test.

There is a very long history of Kansas hosting UConn when it's national championship good (like in 2023), but only coming to UConn when there is a sense of a rebuild. The 1997 game when Rip Hamilton, Jake Voskuhl and Kevin Freeman were all freshman, a year after UConn was ranked #1. The game after Kirk King was suspended for bad grades. And now Self agrees to host UConn when they are top 5 in the nation with a clear chance to win it all, but only agrees to come to UConn the next year when UConn presumably will lose at least 3, and perhaps 4 starters from next year's team. If I am a Kansas fan I love the play. They have been doing this to UConn for 30 years.

Kansas should be coming to UConn THIS YEAR. Last time we played was there in 2023. Home and Home means does not mean 2 home games in a row when UConn is the better team, it means alternating home games with the opponent. Kansas has never played fair in the sandbox and we should only get in the sandbox with teams who do.

There is one guy who scheduled like this and his name was John Cheney. Complete lunatic who believed any team coached by him could beat anyone. It actually worked to where Temple got into the NCAA tournament with records of 18-13, which would not be happening now. In this famous video, Cheney threatens to kill Calipari and "kick his ***":

I believe UConn could actually win 4 or maybe 5 of those games. Even if they went 3-3, they will win enough Big East games to get in, assuming they don't win the conference tournament. So Hurley isn't as big a nut job as Cheney was.
