Maxey drops 54 on Doc Rivers on the second night of a back to back. Love it…otherwise me watching this team!!!
This was a painful game to watch. The Sixers seemed to be in good shape at the end of 3 qtrs, and then proceeded to allow the Hawks to go on a 15-0 run to start the 4th qtr. But the Sixers rallied late, and the game went OT. At the end of the 1st OT, it was still tied. The Hawks won it in the 2nd OT. Too many times, the Sixers would drive to the basket, and then very late would attempt to pass off to a teammate who was moving into position for a rebound (assuming the driver was shooting), and the ball would go OOB.
@jmorovich -- I'm surprised you didn't comment about last night's game, especially the ending. I'm not happy that the Sixers squandered a big lead in the 4th quarter. But give Edgecombe, and the team, some credit at the end of the game, for getting the win.
I was too busy following the coaching meltdown in the Lions Den!!! I saw they were up 24 and went back to refreshing my screen every 30 seconds! My eyes are burning right now.
I seen the alert they won by 1 and thought “WTF?!?” Seen the highlights. Amazing on both ends. That absolutely would have taken years off my life (much like this coaching search). I feel like I’m 98 in fan years between the Sixers and the coach search.

I watched the game. It was good to see them playing well, especially with Maxey out.
Play the song?!?! I wasn’t sure because the game was on Prime and I wasn’t gonna try to flip between an app and the playoff game. Just seen the alert. Looks like a big game from Maxey and VJ. Nice to see McCains box score as well.

I watched @ 5 minutes during the 1st qtr. Between the CFB playoff game, family arriving, etc., that's all I could squeeze in. The Sixers had the lead when I turned the game off, but I wasn't all that confident they could hold the lead. Nice to read that they got the W.
VJ, with the 3, with 1.7 sec left in OT!!! He puts the Sixers up by 3, 139-136, over the Grizzlies.
Totally pathetic loss. The Nuggets basically had their starters out while the Sixers had the entire lineup at home. Zero defense. The minutes aren't sustainable for these guys, Nurse needs to get his head out of his butt.
yeah, that was frustrating (the 4th qtr & the OT). I felt the Sixers player got fouled on both of the calls that Toronto challenged in the last 30 sec (which were called Sixers ball but overturned after the challenge). And I thought that Nurse made a poor challenge, as in real time I thought it went off the Sixers hand.
Nurse losing that challenge came up big at the end of OT, as the Obrue got called for a foul with 1.8 sec left in the game, and TV replay showed that the Raptor player clearly hooked Ubrue's arm, and the foul was him Obrue trying to free his arm. A challenge there probably would have overturned the foul call. But, with Nurse having lost the challenge at the very end of regulation, he didn't have a challenge available.
