Same old, same old. Plays with fire the whole match, loses and then stares in disbelief and forces a brick.

He's so frustrating.

141 pound quarterfinal: No. 1 Beau Bartlett vs. No. 9 Greyson Clark

First period
Bartlett scores two quick takedowns and cut Clark both times to stake a 6-2 lead with 30 seconds left in the first period. That's the score after one.

Second period
Bartlett ducks in on a nice inside single leg and finishes it to take a 9-3 lead with under a minute left in the second period. That's the score after five minutes. Bartlett has 1:40 in riding time.


Third period
Bartlett is down to start the third. He escapes with 1:10 left but loses the riding time point for now. He does get a takedown though then cuts Clark to go up 13-3. That's the final score. Bartlett is into the semis.

149 pound quarterfinal: Shayne Van Ness vs. No. 8 Kal Miller

First period
Van Ness shoots and scores with about a minute left to take a 3-0 lead. That's the score after one.

Second period
Miller takes top. Van Ness gets an escape and then a takedown to take a 7-0 lead with nearly two minutes in riding time.
third period

Third period
Miller takes bottom and escapes. Van Ness shoots and score again for a 10-1 lead. Stalling on Miller to 11-1. Miller escapes to 11-2. SVN wins 12-2 with 2:34 in riding time to qualify for the semifinals.

Parco better not go under Lovett. He may never get up the rest of his life if he does. He was up 15-2 and Cartella tilted him for 4NF on top of riding him the entire third.
