Why is nebby ahead of PSU, 112.5 to 104.5? It was tied going into the Kasak match.

I don't understand the team scoring. Announcers said we were tied with Nebraska at 104.5. Next thing I see is Nebraska up 112.5 to 104.5. Then Tyler gets the fall and we're still at 104.5. What am I missing?

I was having more fun this afternoon....

Beau and SVN sucks, but only really affects seeding. Would just be nice to see them look better, I'm gonna start a Penn State can't wrestle against length rumor. Mesenbrink struggled (relatively) too.

165 Semi: #1 seed Mitchell Mesenbrink vs. #4 seed Beau Mantanona (Michigan)

I'll use BM for Beau

Per 1
BM with a double for a quick TD. The 1st TD that Mitch has given up all season. Mesenbrink with the esc, and they go OOB, 3-1. Mitch in on a single, BM locks around the crotch, and a stalemate with 1:52 left. Mitch tries a throw-by, but BM with a nice response to avoid the TD. Mitch on a single to a double, BM grabs an ankle, BM gets 2 danger motions, but that's it, they scramble, and Mitch gets behind for the TD, 4-3. They are on the edge, so not a lot of room to work. OOB with 0:29 left. BM hits a shoulder roll, but Mitch stays with him. BM gets flattened. Mitch works an arm bar but stoppage for PD with 0:04 left (good call). End. RT @ 0:35 for Mitch

Per 2
Mitch takes bottom. He slowly works up, nearly gets a rev but just gets the esc, 5-3. Mitch in on a single, but stopped for PD with 1:33 left. Mitch with a shot/throw-by for a TD, 8-3. Mitch cuts him, 8-4, and uses a throw-by for a TD, 11-4. Mitch cuts him, 11-5. OOB with 0:46 left. BM shoos and gets a single, Mitch reaches over and a stalemate with 0:34 left. Mitch with a low single, BM with a whizzer, but Mitch still gets behind for the TD, 14-5. End. RT @ 1:03 for Mitch

Per 3
BM takes bottom. Mitch flattens him, and seems to be working to lock a cradle. He lost the grip on the cradle , and BM with an esc, 14-6. Stall warning on SM is a point for Mitch, 15-6. OOB with 1:08 left. Mitch in on a single/duck and gets the TD, 18-6. He cuts him, 18-7. He gets behind for the TD, 21-7. He cuts him. OOB with 0:36 and a stall warning on BM makes it 22-8. Mitch in on a double and gets the TD. It's a 25-8 TF @ 6:29!!!!

Who was yelling “Hit him with another one” in the Mesenbrink match, when the Michigan kid was getting hit with stalling? It wasn’t from the PSU corner, but it was clear as day on the BTN broadcast.

174 Semi: #1 seed Levi Haines vs. #4 seed Patrick Kennedy (Iowa)

I'll use PK fro Kennedy

Per 1
Haines in on a low single, and gets the TD, 3-0. KP sits out, but Levi stays with him. PK sits out and then to his feet and out, 3-1. Haines sort of shoots but is blocked. PK really trying to control the head. 1 min left. End. RT @ 0:16 for Haines

Per 2
Levi takes bottom. He works up back down, up again, and gets the eesc as they go OOB with 1:45 left, 4-1. Haines min on a single, he works it and gets the TD, 7-1. PK is up and out as they go OOB with 1:00 left, 7-2. Haines shoots, blocked. PK shoots, nothing. End. RT @ 0:17 for Haines

Per 3
PK takes bottom. He sits out, Levi working hard, but PK gets the hips away and gets the esc, 7-3. RT is 0:33 for Levi, so it's not a factor. PK sort of shoots, nothing. 1 min left. PK sort of shoots, and Levi tries to counter, nothing. Stoppage for interlocking fingers with 0:33 sec left. PK sort of shoots, nothing. Haines in on a low single and gets it just before the buzzer, 10-3 DEC for Levi Haines!
