I think the Eagles ate trying to trade for Bradley(?) Chubb of Miami. ??
Maybe. They clearly need an edge and CB2. Maybe they go all in with one spot hoping to positively impact both?
Chubb would be interesting as he has no guaranteed money left after this season. He also seems to be pretty productive on a bad Miami team. I assume Hendrickson would cost too much and Cincinnati isn't throwing in the towel. I like the idea of Jermaine Johnson but it seems like he hasn't been on the field and productive enough this year. But he's young and you control him for another season.
There aren’t many potential impact contributors on that list. I assume Denzel Ward would be expensive to trade for and then you have to pay him. Same with Hendrickson.
It will be interesting to see where things go. Howie seems determined to keep cap flexibility for upcoming second contracts on D. They’ve also leaned on the draft and youth on defense. Would Howie go against that for the right piece?
Fingers crossed, Tom. The key is getting these guys as close to 100 percent as possible. Especially the OLs.
It was encouraging to hear Mailata say the OL is close to figuring things out.
I’m not putting all of this on Patullo, but how can anyone look at those first half vs second half splits and not conclude that play calls are the main culprit?!
It’s TBD how much of that is Sirianni vs Patullo vs Hurts are LOS. But it needs to be fixed yesterday.
I want DE help in the worst way, but please BG stay retired. You went out on top when so many hang on for way too long.
