Whoa. Pretty hard to argue the offense has been competent looking at those stats. They even lag behind a pretty weak 2021 team.

Thank God for the D this year and Hurts doing a solid job taking care of the ball outside of a couple of games.
Terrific Red Zone scoring rate.

here's Nick's real dilemma, suppose he sits Hurts, but most of the OL plays, and Tanner McKee starts, and the O looks totally different than what we have seen . What happens next? Yes Hurts may still be the QB but we get to the playoffs, and the first half its SOS, does Hurts get benched at half time again?

McKee looks like a pro bowler every time he plays.

They’ve needed it and a low turnover rate. That’s the only way they’re in the playoffs this year, IMO.
without looking I bet most teams with low turnover rate are in the playoffs! teams with great D's seemed to be underrated. Look at the Bears and 49ers last game. They are called great teams while they both gave up 40 points each !! (almost) How can a team be great giving up 40 pts?

I think he’s right. It’s going to be an interesting offseason. I can’t imagine Patullo getting a HC job, so this issue will come to a head.
I see a Doug type head coming. Nick will want to keep him, JL will want him fired to bring in a name coach. We’ll have a new Head Coach. Nick will sign for a Gazzilion$$$ w the Giants or Titans and we’ll slip back for a yr or two

Pretty much sums it up. I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose this weekend and wouldn't be surprised if they won it all. They certainly have the defense to do it, so the offense needs to string together a few solid performances. I'd rather not face the Rams as they seem due to beat the Eagles.
The offense is their X factor. Getting Lane back and being as close to 100% as possible should help.
