Nittany Lion Tyler Kasak, the top seed at 157 pounds, will face No. 32 Landen Johnson in his first bout later today. The Northern Illinois wrestler beat No. 33 Richard Fedalen of Colorado in a pig-tail bout.
None of the clocks are working on ESPN+ so that's nice. Did they hire students too?
Davis may never wrestle at PSU after this year.

While this may be true, after he gave up an early'ish takedown, he wrestled fine. After 2 years, he is what he is - at this point.
Got the W and advanced. All good.
Must say, didn't see Davis ending up with a major. Nice setup and execution on both scoring shots.
I was worried for a little while. Was surprised Davis took neutral but it worked out.
Way to start us off right with bonus points. Hopefully this knocks some of the rust off of Davis for future bouts.
Davis will draw Maryland's Braxton Brown in the second round. He beat him 9-7 at Big Tens.
I guess the thought is even if he gets an escape it's still a takedown difference so why risk getting ridden out for the period or turned.
his tendency to make dumb decisions trying to get out of bottom had me hoping they’d make that switch. Glad it worked out.
ESPN's clock and scoring brings back memories of them showing still photos of the boxing matches. We have self driving cars, AI technology that can write papers, create voices with just a few words of input, and create video recreation of deceased actors. Putting up an accurate scoreboard and clock is more of a 2050 thing.
