165: #1 seed Mitchell Mesenbrink vs. #33 seed Chandler Amaker (Central Michgan)

Picking this up at the start of the 2nd period, with Mitch up 12-0

Per 2
Mitch takes bottom. He's up quickly, and out, and gets the esc, 13-0. He's in on a shot and gets the TD, and that's a 16-0, TF, @ 3:32!!!!!

Love that. Used to love saying that when I was younger...like in the Pleistocene era.

I was working on something and not paying attention and then all of a sudden I heard the announcer get all excited with Van Ness close to being on his back. By the time I looked up, he was back in control.

30 seconds later...pin.
That announcer sucks. SVN wasn’t in any jeopardy

Teemer gets majored by Lovett of CMU 11-3. Not a good start for Iowa if they want to go home with a trophy. Cruz got dominated too.

I have never seen a program have so many guys with shoulder issues over the years. Kemdawg, Cory Clark and Teemer just off the top of my head. Why do they always have shoulder issues at Iowa?

I never wrestled but it’s pretty crazy to me that these guys can keep the whistles straight when all the mats are so close together. Maybe its easier then it seems on tv but theres so many whistles and to keep track of what is yours and what isn't is awesome.
You keep wrestling until the ref stops you if you aren’t sure.

Starocci in the hole on Mat 2

Haines in the hole on Mat 6

@GregPickel, how do you want to handle this? Is it Mat 2 that you have bad site lines on?
