Three finalists and six all Americans. Pretty good tournament from the pokes. Left some out there which could have made this even better but this year has been a success. Gotta keep building and chipping away at penn state.
I know Minny’s coaches are making sure to block any and all calls from a 405 or 918 area code that he may get. Especially after Spratley and Jamison lol.
I think it was a fantastic tournament for the Cowboys!
AJ has a gut and is not what he once was obviously
Pleased with how healthy on the whole this team is. Hats off to all involved.
Amine was yelling at them to throw the challenge brick on that takedown. Amine still had a wizzer in.
I think he was upset that they did not throw a brick to challenge UVU's first takedown. It seemed like he continued to chastise the coaches for that throughout the match, but I am not a lipreader.
That HWT match was one of the most satisfying wins going back several years.
This tourney has exceeded my expectations and been a good showing for our coaching staff and squad. It feels good to be competitive again. We get 2 champs tomorrow.

I understand that, but one was barely moving and it seems most likely its his ACL and he did it in practice.
If you watch Wyatts matches closely, his arm had limited strength, but yes the PSU guy did have a worse injury, sure. I still like Wyatts chances if they're both 100%
Actually ,Ventresca had about 3 good shots, But Spratley ankle whizzer was so powerful he could not get Spratley leg up and so no takedowns. I have not seen that whizzer by Spratley so strong in any match I have seen this year. Good timing Troy.
Your right, Wyatt was going to beat him anyway, might have been closer a lot like Deans win

Bad tournament so far for Iowa, but very bad day for PSU. Nebraska is on Fire right now.
If they win out without bonus, they will collect:
Ayala +6
Caliendo +6
Kennedy +4.5
Buchanon +6
This would put them at 96. We are currently at 91. So mathematically it is possible. But eff that!
Doesn’t have much offense. Hopes to get a takedown at best and then ride out. Or just ride out.Good defense due to flexibility.

Of the three OSU finalists, who has the best odds at winning? My bet is 1. Sprat, 2. Ham, 3. Hendrickson. Gable is a beast. I would be willing to swop out Ham for Sprat. KOT still doesn’t look quite up to form.
Top 4 spots aren't changing. 5th-7th should be fun between Corn. Minn. N.Iowa and maybe a couple others.
If very bad is 10 AAs with all still wrestling tomorrow, I hope every tournament is this bad.
My memory is it use to be 4 points for winning in the finals if you don't get bonus. Has it changed?
It is unusual for you to lose 4 in the semi's and only have 2 finalists. But 10 All Americans is rare. I would not call your tournament very bad, but I might call it disgusting. I will probably have to take that back soon.
4 points is right. Maybe he meant winning by pin for 6 points?
