Torpedo, Schmorpedo.Argue that its not a larger sweet spot just a moved sweet spot...actually look to women's softball bats and they have a similar sweet spot location and have for a decade or so.
And to not doubt the MIT physics guy for the Yanks but this seems a bit contrary to the notion to that of an axe or sledgehammer where the weight at the end of the bat generates more bat speed which lends to power in the F=ma equation.....does this lessen the A but increases the M at actual contact point on the bat? are you robbing peter to pay paul as it were??
MLB subscriber here too. I like it. One thing to keep in mind is mlb.tv will black you out when the Phils are playing AT any of your designated "home" teams. Looks like for Asheville it's the Braves, and the Reds for some reason. That's when a VPN is useful. You can still get the radio broadcast if you don't go the VPN route. For those of you who asked for me to follow-up, living in Asheville NC a YouTube tv subscriber and a Philly fan, I cannot change my "home location" and get the Phillies games, I ended up subscribing to the MLB $150 season package. Worth every penny!!!
I appreciate the heads up buddy!!! Quick question……do you get the home team announcers on MLB??MLB subscriber here too. I like it. I have Starlink and my PoP is Ashburn, VA, even though I live in western PA. Since there's no VPN on my router or Roku, I have to watch the Phils @ Nats/Orioles on my computer with a VPN, which really isn't a big deal. OTOH, I don't get blacked out when the Phils play in Pittsburgh.

That bottom of the fifth inning was ugly. Bases loaded no outs and your 2-3-4 hitters don’t even put the ball in play. Too many swings at bad pitches there.
This was in reference to the Wednesday night game. Not Thursday.didn't the 2 hitter put the ball in play (weakly), but the pitcher threw (poorly) home but the catcher made a great play to get the force?
That was farther than 444’That was a grown man hr... He looks really fit this year.
