The only value he has at this point is when you are either up big or down big.
Were you under the impression that the Marlins traded a Number 1 starter for two Phillies prospects? He’s a 3-5 starter who will get teed up from time to time.
Walker hasn’t issued a walk in his last three starts.

Fightins fall, 5-1, in the series finale against the Orioles. They left far too many RISP during the game, and Ranger had one bad inning.
Ugh, again with this? Look, I'm not saying it's good to leave RISP, but people are reading way too much into this. Again, the list of high RISP per game is below. Pretty much all the best teams, who put a lot of RISP. Folks have to accept that this is going to happen and let it go.Left too many RISP…….AGAIN !!
Plus, people really notice when runners are left in SP but don't remember when those runners actually score (which is a lot). Kind of like when fans remember all the bad ref calls against their team but never remember when it goes their way.
