Not a doom and gloomer at all, but this Dodger team is finally getting healthy. They’ve been hampered in places all season. Need to get to their trash bullpen early and hope Sasaki folds because he’s got massive talent and looked great last night. He’s only been back for a bit, but could really help plug the huge holes in their pen

Red Sox-Yankees was a great game. Boone is getting tons of criticism for taking out Fried. Lots of empty seats tonight at Dodger Stadium. Only 26k showed up at Cleveland today. I get it, not easy making a 1pm weekday game on short notice, but still...

MLB has to stop the BS of Weekday Daytime games. PERIOD. If television networks and fans can handle flipping channels for college football, they can handle it with baseball.

The Phillies has a great fanbase at the moment, but schedule that scrimmage at 1pm with regularly priced tickets and the numbers would have been different.

Son1 was in dodgers stadium last nite wearing his Phillies hat. Paid $45 for high deep 3rd base line. Maybe LA fans will step up vs the phils but home field advantage is all about our bank

This one is from 2008. It wasn't a walk-off but it's still a great memory for Phils fans.

Too bad that was Joe Buck on the call - sounded like he was announcing he had hemorrhoids. I would love to hear Harry Kalas’ call but don’t think it’s available.

I always liked Andy Musser’s call of Schmidty’s huge Olympic Stadium home run off Stan Bahnsen. His voice cracks, but “he buried it” is epic

2 biggest news take aways??

1: no stubbs
2: NO ROMANO!!!!!!!!!!
No problem with either. Marchan was there all season and leaving him off the roster would be a kick in the nuts for him. Plus, being a switch hitter is a positive even though it's unlikely he'll get many playoff ABs. Never know what may happen though.

Romano?? Dude had to see the writing on the wall. I'm sure even he'd admit the results weren't there.

I’m super high on Marchan. SUPER high. Just piqued my interest that they left Stubbs off the roster with as much as the guys think so highly of him.

And You clearly didn’t pick up on my excitement that Romano isn’t on the post season roster. He’s been absolute garbage all season, but I’m also surprised with as highly as topper talked about him.

I got what you meant about Romano. There's no way anyone could be excited about him being on the post-season roster.

How many times have we seen this?? One inning of offense then nothing. From the bottom of the line up no less. The streakiness at the top is frustrating.

Frustrating. Sanchez gets the 1st 2 outs in the top of the 6th. Then a walk, a single, and a double drives in 2 runs, chasing Sanchez.

3-2, Fightins, middle of the 6th
