I have to admit, after the Phils were swept by the Mets, I was thinking "ohshit". Now here we are a month later, the Phils currently have the best win percentage in MLB, and they lead the Mets by three games.

Exactly. We can’t get too hyped about beating up on 3 of the worst teams in baseball.
The Mets will have these stretches too, but it’s good to see the Phils taking advantage and building a division lead.

In the top of the 11th, Schwarber drove in 2 with a double, then scored on a sac fly, as the Fightins go up 9-6. I'm too tired to stay up for the bottom of the 11th ... hope the Fightins can hold on to win the game.

Chicago Cubs - 31-21 - .596

NL West:
LA Dodgers - 32-20 - .615
SF Giants - 30-22 - .577
SD Padres - 28-22 - .560
So the Fightins have the top record in the NL. They had been trailing the Detroit Tigers for the top record in MLB, but after yesterday's results, the Tigers are at:
33-20 - .623
So, the Fightins have the best record in MLB as of 5/25.
Fightin fans continue to thank @rudedude for refusing to watch their games after the series with the Mets in April.
