91 pitches in the fifth inning. He certainly wouldn’t have been there in the 8th so no.Yes. He was locked in today. The biggest mistake the Reds made was taking him out. The Phillies lineup had nothing for him. He located his pitches well, threw good heat, and changed speeds well. He’s good.
Pretty much any team that wins a world series needs to get hot in October. This team pretty much is what it is. Unless they get hot in October, they better start making tee times.
It is what it is: about the fourth best record in baseball in a league and a sport that doesn’t have any great teams. They are as good or better than every team in baseball so I think they can hold off on the tee times for now. This team pretty much is what it is. Unless they get hot in October, they better start making tee times.
Gambling. It’s rampant in all sports. Look at what is happening now with the NBA.how is this home plate ump employed by MLB? He's been brutal in calling multiple balls as strikes against Harper. And now, in the 8th inning, he's missing strikes left and right that Kerkering has thrown. smh
We’ll see, Grant. They look capable of making the playoffs. Neither them or the Mets want to pull away in the NL East.Pretty much any team that wins a world series needs to get hot in October.
They are still a top 5-6 team no matter how bad you want them not to be.
As a long suffering Pirates fan at heart, I’ll trade you rosters, coaches, GMs, and owners. As the saying goes, “I’ll give you something to cry about!”We’ll see, Grant. They look capable of making the playoffs. Neither them or the Mets want to pull away in the NL East.
And I want them to win the series for the record. It’s the end of a title contention with a frustrating run of the same problems that has many fans like me frustrated.
Dom built the roster in a specific way so they are what they are.
Unlikely in this case. A sportsbook would see irregular betting patterns coupled with obviously bad calls and this ump would possibly be out of a job. A foolish risk for probably not a lot of money. I don't think people understand how devoted sportsbooks are to finding irregular betting patterns. That is what always gets these guys caught. It's why Beasley is in trouble.Gambling. I'm really not sure what problems you are seeing that other teams don't have as well. Do you want a bunch of singles hitters that make contact, but don't score a lot of runs either? The type of hitters that the Phillies have are what baseball breeds these days. They are 10th best in strike-outs per game - could be better but not a major problem. We’ll see, Grant. They look capable of making the playoffs. Neither them or the Mets want to pull away in the NL East.

Phillies got robbed last night. Total BSUnlikely in this case. A sportsbook would see irregular betting patterns coupled with obviously bad calls and this ump would possibly be out of a job. Regarding the Kerkering pitches, hey were awful calls. Three in a row and a terrible job by the ump.Phillies got robbed last night. Total BS
prime example. Nats were a WC team and probably 6th or 7th in games won in regular season.2019
