perhaps. They lost a lot of firepower from last year's team. Perhaps their preseason ranking didn't adequately consider this. Then again, it's early in the season. Teams can improve a great deal over the course of the season.

Terrible start for PSU. They got better in set 2, and much better in set 3. Alas, they're young, and the team is also dealing with some sickness -- not how you'd like to go into a battle with the #1 ranked team.
