I dont know Boys get bigger as they age too many variables at play even for other teammates ------- you tell us where it all fits because if what you say is true about HWT if this welsh stuff is true there appear to be no room at the inn for someone

sometimes your star right fielder moves to first base
I don't know what Barr's walking weight is, but he would've been 184 this year if Starocci didn't bump up. Not sure he has the size to be comfortable at HWT.

David Taylor was the man while he wrestled at Penn State, was the face of Penn State wrestling.

I don't know much about this, but he may have burnt a couple too many bridges when he went to Okie State.

I don't just think about what James and Welsh will do for our lineup, I think about what they won't do for Okie State's lineup.

Sure. Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D.

😞
Some of these kids moving 3 times in 4 years. Most schools require a certain amount of credits at their school to earn a degree. Not talking about guys who graduated, then move to a different school.

Which is the better room for Welsh LT? Wouldn't he be able to roll with DT in Stillwater? Is Brooks with NLWC?

Not sure why everyone is freaking out about the talent we're attracting. Cael will wrestle the guys that win the spot or make some adjustments for the long-term plan (see Zane red shirt). Ono - innovative move, however, other schools already have brought in international wrestlers....albeit not to Ono's achievement or star-power level. I can't imagine Cael ever guaranteeing a spot to anyone. Sure, there's going to be a few guys that could have / would have been AAs a certain year but this will all play out. If they know they are close or can't win the spot, they'll transfer. It's a new day in college sports. For those who feel "bad" for a guy or two, then you haven't wrestled. I think now the top guys that come to PSU know they have to compete to "be the guy" at that weight. Our room has become internationally renowned. It's not just NCAA's, it's Olympic GOLD too! I think this is just the beginning. Is this good for college wrestling - TBD?

The longer this goes without Welsh himself posting, I believe he may be using Mineo and Willie to make money.

I would not be surprised if Welsh stays put, or if offered a big bag, goes to OSU.

Disclaimer: I know nothing, just speculation.

Good for the wrestlers. Let them cash the paycheck. Don't see any of them doing much internationally after their college careers are over. And really doesn't hurt PSU at all.

We’ll see. Iowa & the rest are fighting for 2nd place. With Ono & Welsh we might eclipse 177! We’ll get our margin back up to 100 points.

So, Cael is selfish and shady and doesn’t care about the growth of the sport when he takes transfers from small underfunded Ohio State. Iowa takes the top two wrestlers from small program Little Rock and it’s ok because they were transferring anyway. HR is a special kind of delusional and dysfunctional.
