The NCAA Committee also punished Jason and Kemerer in 2018 after both made B10 semis. We'll see what they do this year. They're unpredictable.

Bouzakis held on I think with riding time and whatnot I saw 6-4 bouzakis. Peterson was in close but stuck with the reversal attempt. Bouzakis got hit for a locked hands but didn't care cause he just hung out there til the end ha

The math seeded Carter 7. NCAA Wrestling Committee then chose to punish Lewis and Griffith for Carter being unable to compete at B10s.

Guessing Ferrari will be #4 in the final coaches' poll behind Welsh, McEnelly, and Sinclair. Conway is the current 4 but lost at EIWAs ... and does anybody think the coaches would've put Ferrari behind him anyway? The 5-7 are all B10 guys (Allred, Mantanona, Fishback).

He'll also be 4th or 5th in Win %, and score well in Quality Wins. But no RPI and bad Conference Placement.

Without doing the seeding math, am guessing he'll be around 6-8, and then possibly bumped down like Carter was.

Irreverent. Wrestled once then picked up a lost and medical fft. Came out of big 10 with just one more win than Starocci.

Byrd loses to Ayala. Can't finish better than 5th. Remember when people thought he should be the 1 seed because of last year despite not facing anyone this year over Blaze who beat all of these guys?

I still think he earned it. Aside from his results in this tournament.

SVN did not look good at all. Needs a better 1st Period. Seems he’s not ready on the Whitest

SVN better Improve in the 1st period. He is not Wrestling like #1 in the Nation. Hopefully people are talking with hIm.

SNV needs to improve his defense big time. He’s not going to get away with falling behind an elite opponent then come back and win. He needs to focus on getting that 1st TD. MO

Really hope SVN can improve his Defense and stop falling behind. That’s definitely gonna come back and bit him against a good condition wrestler

This tournament shows he didn’t deserve it. Weak schedule and 28% bonus rate. Even the coaches formula doesn’t take last year’s results into account- they don’t matter to the coaches, why should they matter at all?

It appears Mat Center has updated their Team Scores site. The number of finalists has been reduced to 32. Still impossible. They also must have hired Nostradamus because it lists Iowa as having two Champions. Wisconsin has one champ while Penn State has yet to have a champ

This seems like the obvious outcome. Hopefully Davino comes out and forces things with Marcus today, Marcus will catch him if he does. It will be interesting to see where Seidel fits in. If Blaze wins I'm guessing Seidel slides in at #3 and Davino is the #4.

Where does Byrd end up in the national seedings?

Start with the coaches' poll -- he'll probably be 5 or 6. Definitely behind Blaze, Davino, Forrest, and Seidel if he wins ACCs today (which he should). Frost was 6 but is out. I doubt the coaches drop him behind 7 Larkin after the 15-2 loss to Forrest. 8 Ayala might pass him due to the H2H, hard to say if the coaches will drop him that far from 1.

Ayala should get seeded ahead of him either way, due to H2H + Conf Placement + RPI.

Byrd is 12th in RPI -- but that probably only hurts him with Ayala and Larkin and maybe Knox. B10 finish won't help. Will get buoyed some by 5th or 6th in Win %.

Guessing seed will be in the 7-10 range.

How'd Seidel do in the ACC tourny? He'd be ahead of Byrd too
