I guess so. I did see some MD fans. I think MSU was the only school I didnt see any fans of.most of the unsold tickets were allotted to the 14 other big ten schools who couldn't sell them. I didn't see a single maryland fan there in two days.

I think some of this is building a wrestling foundation accross the entire country. Can anyone explain conference placement criteria for NCAA seeding?
seems odd to me you would reward an inferior conference points for winning when they wouldn’t have placed at B1Gs?
Also..PAC 10 conference has 4 teams. Are you telling me a 4th there is the same weight as 4th at B1Gs?
Tried multiple times to score PSU wrestling tix this year and each time tickets were into the hundreds of dollars per seat. Sure, tournament tickets dipped some in the last few week due to oversaturation of the resell market, but we had already made other plans for watching. I’m sure there are other people in the same boat, high interest in attending, but not dropping hundreds of dollars for one event.I was shocked to see how poor attendance was throughout the 2 days. Lots of empty seats, especially for the finals. I get States finals are Saturday, but I expected a pretty full house for tonight.
Nah, the guy is immortal. He has cheated death 8794 times thus far and is back above for life #8795 (and counting). It's like the movie Groundhog Day and jsxxxx is the cynical TV weatherman character who keeps starting the day over here on the PSU board. You know, his favorite team's board.Suicide by cop here.
He’s an absolute monster, and someday we’ll look back at this season of his as one similar to Zain’s sophomore season. To me he’s been even more dominant than Mitchell this year, even though neither has come close to losing.Barr in my mind is a top 3 Pound for pound wrestler up there with mesenbrink and Mendez
Brutal on top means turning people, not just riding them out.AJ had that match won. He is absolutely brutal on top. He just got a bit sloppy at the end. Taye wrestled right down the road from me at Campbell University. Hell of a match.
Finally!!And with that, your time here is done.
Can't be that strong. Could barely carry his own asss off the mat after that beat down.Just not strong enough.
I'd agree. After I started mod'ing on Rivals I was able to go back and see who was banned before I started, and there were actually quite a few users who were banned by a different mod just for disagreeing with them. I was shocked because some were decent, long term legitimate posters. Its your call but I would humbly request some mercy or at least a timeout for js vs a total ban.
The Assistant Coach was Brian Snyder, who wrestled for Easton and then was an All American for Nebraska. Manning must be rubbing off on him because he was always a classy kid and guy. His father was a tremendous assistant coach for Easton.Nebraska coaches really deserve a team point deduction there and may have gotten it.
After the match the assistant was really laying into the ref.
Terry level crap from them this weekend. Both days.
Cael can't be coach of the year because all he does is recruit the highest rated wrestlers. If Tom had recruited the best wrestlers.......he would have no legitimate claim to being named coach of the year. Wait....I am getting a call from Snopes......It seems that when this years' Ohio State senior class were freshman recruits.....IT was overwhelming voted the best recruiting class.....some said best EVER. So..............NevermindPj Duke not freshman of the year? Cael not coach of the year? What **** is this
Now Now.....Rocco was just trying to help him up off his kneestbf welsh did very clearly grab the singlet at pivotal points in the match. that's probably one of the more reasonable complaints mr. ferrari's ever had lol
Hence, some of those guys.I could see him stealing a match against Blaze/Seidel/Davino by keeping it close and them making a mistake. He's good enough to take advantage of that. I don't see anyway he can beat Jax Forrest.
Way to go Ghadiali. A late TD. And then the ref made the appropriate stall call when Ferrari reached for the area off the edge to seek an OOB.
As a retired officer, I can appreciate some good gallows humor : )Suicide by cop here.
I'm surprised MSU158 wasn't there manning a booth with a sign saying, "Change my mind. Iowa is still relevant."I guess so. I did see some MD fans. I think MSU was the only school I didnt see any fans of.
Eh it was my time. I'm not around much anyway (lots of other, far more important things going on in my life!). Arguing with an official over a bad call felt like the perfect way to go out so I went for it.Dude, I was trying to throw you a lifeline based off your past posting history which has been quite fair. But you seem to insist in digging your own grave.

Fans of MSU? Never heard of suchI guess so. I did see some MD fans. I think MSU was the only school I didnt see any fans of.
I used to think that too.I don't care what anybody says, Starocci not being the Hodge award winner last year peeled the legitimacy of the award right off the trophy.
Nolf didn't get the award in years Zain won twice and Bo the last year. Nothing every fishy about those 3 years.
Question, how are there not teams trying like hell to get into the PAC? I get that football takes precedence but ASU wrestling should have never left. Wyoming? Air Force?I think some of this is building a wrestling foundation accross the entire country.
That’s cute.Just saw a Facebook post by Ferrari Sr where he was whining about Welsh, claiming he was grabbing Angelo’s singlet during their match.

I used to think that too.
And then I saw how everybody twisted themselves into knots to split the award later, and wondered why Jason and Bo couldn't have shared it.
But really, the shine came off it when Ringer got a Lifetime Achievement Award over Zain.
How about the theme to sesame street...How is Duke's intro music not "Duke of Earl"?
It was, but it was the 5th or 6th out of 7 criteria, and Zain was far better on dominance and pins. But wasn’t lifetime achievement one of the criteria back then? The split between Gable and Lord Spencer was the worst.

Not a good look to make fun of the family of a competitor. They’re there to give support. I thought it was great to see family members cheering on their guys. Sometimes is best not to share every thought that pops into your head.oldmanferrari looked like a potential Iranian terrorist while sitting mat side today.![]()
Brutal on top means turning people, not just riding them out.
Not nearly enough stalling is called on the top wrestlerTo turn someone you'd actually have to work for a turn, which he doesn't ever attempt. Somehow does just enough to not get a stall call by mat returning and occasionally breaking someone down from base. Considering all that, how he doesn't get dinged for running the bottom guy out for a restart is beyond me.
It's like everything he does rides the line of legal while being fully against the spirit of competition.
