It’s early in the week, but there are encouraging reports that Barkley, Smitty and Dickerson should be back next game.

That would help the offense.

I like Jimmy K, but I disagree with him about this:

Totally agree with you on this Tom. If they can hold it together a little while longer and get healthy later in the year they can win this division. Maybe some of the young guys improve and the O learns to execute the new system better, who knows? Giving up on a season this early is for losers period.

After the Jags game:

This is why I lean toward the blow it up and rebuild approach this season and next.

We saw the same thing in the 2018 and 2019 seasons. This defense is much better, but there are parallels on offense. It’s going to be a bumpy couple of years while they cycle much of this dead cap money off the books.

Wow. The hits keep coming. Never seen anything like this in terms of high profile injuries.

The betting line moved from about -1 to -4 for Carolina. Betting market indicating that the drop from Hurts to McKee only worth about 3 points.
i thought it would be more.

Players are never worth as many points as folks think, especially at the NFL level where everyone is a true professional. Perfect case in point - Third string QB Case Keenum vs the Eagles. Or rookie Jalon Daniel beating the Cowboys last week.
